Tender description

A Catering Service is required for Haileybury Academy Trust trading as Haileybury Turnford, hereinafter referred to as the School or Academy. Haileybury Turnford is an Academy sponsored by Haileybury, the private school, located in Hertford. The School currently have 889 pupils on role, of whom 151 are in the sixth form, and 130 members of staff. At full capacity the School would have 1 088 pupils. The School wants to be a vibrant school, developing every aspect of the students. The School will make sure that each student has the opportunity to reach their potential, and can leave with the qualifications, skills and qualities they need for a successful life. The School draw on Haileybury's 150 years of outstanding achievement, and combine that with Turnford's strong sense of community, to create an exceptional school. They believe that excellent teaching, academic success, the best pastoral care and enriching co-curricular opportunities are hallmarks of an excellent school, and will mean the students thrive, flourish and succeed. Hertfordshire Business Services will be running the tender process but the management of the contract from the award date and thereafter will be carried out by the school. This procurement is an Open (one stage) process. Tenderers wishing to apply are invited to ‘express interest’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. The procurement will follow Light Touch regime principles in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
