Scarborough Open Air Theatre - Event Medical Provision

Scarborough Borough Council is looking enter into contract with an Event Medical Provision provider for the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Scarborough Open Air Theatre is a venue that operates between April - September each year hosting a number of top quality concerts featuring major artists from around the world. Audiences can range from 2000 - 8000 depending on show and the profile of the audience can be different for each show. The venue has a First Aid Room at the South Entrance. This room is equipped with Treatment Bed, Screens, Chairs, Fridge and a Sink. There is no other First Aid Room at the venue although treatment has previously been carried out in an ambulance located at the North Entrance area. The venue is demanding in its layout with many of the upper seats being accessed only by a steep climb up the upper steps or up a long slope near the South Entrance. As a result staff will need to be physically fit and able to manage the demanding layout of the venue.
