Tender description

East Lothian Council requires a suitably qualified operator to facilitate the bulking, haulage and transfer of no more than 70 000 tonnes, per annum, of mixed municipal waste and a range of separately collected waste materials from Kinwegar Depot and Transfer Station, Wallyford, East Lothian, to a Licensed Waste Management Facility or other destination as directed by the Council. East Lothian Council requires a suitably qualified operator to facilitate the bulking, haulage and transfer of no more than 70 000 tonnes, per annum, of mixed municipal waste and a range of separately collected waste materials from Kinwegar Depot and Transfer Station, Wallyford, East Lothian, to a Licensed Waste Management Facility or other destination as directed by the Council. The Bidder will be required to provide the necessary vehicles to transport and deposit the waste material and recyclate to the Licensed Site or other destination to the satisfaction of the Operator of the particular site and the Council, together with the necessary equipment to load the vehicles at the Transfer Station.
