Who Speclialist Work With Specialist will operate under the direction of the Implementation Workstream Manager as part of a team of small team of implementation project managers, to manage and coordinate the technical delivery of a number of 3rd party suppliers. The Implementation Workstream is part of a programme team which also includes programme management, design, testing, commercial/legal, policy and business change functions. What Specialists Work On Manage technical delivery from design to release readiness, cut-over, and transition to service. Manage suppliers to ensure alignment with the business and technical requirements, and delivery issues are effectively managed. • Liaise design, testing and assurance work-streams to ensure hand-over for formal testing stages meets timelines. • Work closely with business change colleagues to manage effective business integration, achieving anticipated benefits. • Implement the service management function, and manage the Programme Delivery-Service transition • Programme reporting and lessons learned Where the Work Takes Place Clive House, 70 Petty France, London SW1H 9EX with some travel to other sites in the UK Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Specialist will operate under the direction of the Implementation Workstream Manager as part of a team of small team of implementation project managers, to manage and coordinate the technical delivery of a number of 3rd party suppliers. The Implementation Workstream is part of a programme team which also includes programme management, design, testing, commercial/legal, policy and business change functions. Work Location Clive House, 70 Petty France, London SW1H 9EX with some travel to other sites in the UK Security Clearance CTC/SC (or ability to have clearance to this level by May 2017) . Gaining the appropriate level of clearance for this role will be the responsibility of the Supplier or Contractor. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Working in a complex public sector multi-stakeholder environment with extensive formal governance requirements. Demonstrable experience of successful implementation of complex and innovative technology systems using waterfall and agile approaches. Experience of project management of the delivery of system and service integration between a number of suppliers in a multi-supplier model, working effectively with Design Authority and test teams. Demonstrable experience of working with testing and assurance functions to support timely “go-live” and associated risk and issue management. Excellent commercial, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience of working productively and innovatively with third-party suppliers to deliver demanding project expectations. Experience of effectively using contractual provisions and other levers to manage suppliers and resolve issues rapidly, effectively mitigating the exposure to cost and quality risks. Strong project management competence, with mature understanding of the different methodologies used in systems and service delivery and evidence of making robust workable recommendations for phasing and management of delivery. Demonstrable ability of continual improvement in quality of output and deliverables, influencing and leading third parties in continual improvement. Experience following strategic objectives in building implementation and delivery plans involving complex programmatic interdependencies and a significant number of risks and issues. Experience of working with suppliers, business change functions and stakeholders on user training, acceptance testing, transition and take-up in order to smoothly deploy the new service and meet anticipated benefits.
