Landfill Small Works - AWARD

Tender description

Norfolk County Council wishes to appoint a single Contractor to undertake Works on a dozen or so closed landfill sites within Norfolk so that the Council may fulfil its statutory obligations for pollution control and site licence conditions within these sites. Contract work will mainly comprise of the following duties; (this is not an exhaustive list) o Modifications and maintenance of landfill gas control and monitoring systems. o Modifications and maintenance of leachate and ground water control and monitoring systems. o Supply of materials for the above Works. o Supply of all equipment (hired or otherwise) to carry out the above Works. o Site investigation and construction earthworks. o Modification and maintenance of surface water drainage systems. o Arrangement of transport such as hi-abs and cranes if necessary to facilitate moving landfill infrastructure. o Cover to undertake monitoring such as for Gas, Leachate, Groundwater and Surface Water. o Emergency call outs during the working day (7am- 6pm)
