Tender description
The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified organisations in delivering provision of an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) Service, to operate within the borough incorporating two (2) full-time IDVAs. The main priority of the service is to work with high-risk victims referred to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC), as well as providing a service to victims at other risk levels. The service must prioritise victim safety and promote recovery in accordance with best practice and national guidance. The contract will initially be for a period of two (2) years commencing on the 3rd of July 2017 with an option to extend for a further three (3) years in twelve (12) monthly intervals. There is a maximum budget of £81,000 per annum available. London Borough of Sutton is of the opinion that TUPE arrangements will apply to this contract. The Council is tendering this quotation through the London Tenders e-tendering portal, our preferred method of advertising and managing contract opportunities. Prospective tenderers are advised to register their interest on the London Tenders Portal. Sutton Council currently contracts with a diverse group of voluntary, statutory and private sector providers and encourages a range of organisations, regardless of size, to apply for this provision. The Council shall not be bound to accept the lowest cost or any quotation. The award of contract shall be based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) quotation submitted, and bidders will be expected to demonstrate how they will provide optimum value for money.
