Tender description

Duration of the contract: Contract to commence in 2017 and to last until 31.3.2019 The contract value: Based on the current funding, it is anticipated that the value of the contract for provision of L&D services in Worcestershire cannot be more than £1.4 million for the length of the contract i.e. until 31.3.2019. Description of the opportunity: AG CSU acting on behalf of the NHS England (Health and Justice, North Midlands) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced healthcare service providers to provide Liaison and Diversion services (L&D) for Worcestershire region. NHS England (Health and Justice, North Midlands) will be the contracting and commissioning authority for L&D. The L&D service provision will cater for vulnerable individuals of all ages in the offender pathway and help to inform subsequent decisions, about where an individual is best placed to receive treatment, taking into account public safety, safety of the individual and punishment of the offence. This is a new service for the Worcestershire region and the successful provider(s) are expected to be fully operational, providing services from 30.10.2017.
