Dynamic Purchasing System Participation Qualification for the Provision of Material Waste Reception Services in Lincolnshire

Tender description

Suppliers shall receive waste materials from various sources for treatment in accordance with the waste hierarchy. Sources of waste material will include Household Waste Recycling Centres, Waste Collection Authority kerbside collections and from time to time other sources authorised by the Authority. Any waste received under this DPS and subsequent Call Off contracts must be treated in accordance with the Waste Hierarchy. The minimum level of treatment will be Recovery. Typically the Council will arrange for the delivery of the material and the supplier will be required to accept the materials delivered. However on some occasions the supplier will be required to collect the material from certain sites and arrange appropriate haulage services for the material. This requirement will be clearly indicated in the call-off documentation so the supplier can provision suitable equipment for haulage and price this accordingly.Each of the HWRCs will have specific materials that are collected separately at source. There are eleven different categories of these waste materials namely: (1) Green waste. (2) Paper and Cardboard. (3) Wood and Timber. (4) Plasterboard. (5) Plastics (including Film, Bottles, Rigids and Mixed). (6) Mattresses. (7) Soil, Rubble and Hardcore. (8) Glass bottles. (9) Mineral Oil. (10) Cooking Oil. (11) Lead Acid Batteries
