CLC5175 Provision of Parish Funeral Services

Tender description

The Authority (LBTH) arranges Burials and Cremations, for residents who die or have been found dead within the Authority’s boundaries be it at Hospital, Council or Private Care Home or their own homes where there is no family or third party to complete the funeral arrangements. This includes persons who may be of no fixed abode and who die within the geographical boundary of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The Provider shall undertake the Provision of Funeral Services/Arrangements as detailed in the supporting specification. The contract shall commence on the 3 April 2017 and, subject to satisfactory performance, shall continue until 31 March 2019, and following which and at the Authority’s absolute discretion, the contract may be extended for up to a maximum of two (2) further years until 31 March 2021. The provider shall provide a price for Burial and a price for cremation. Keywords: funeral
