Tender description

Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) is seeking to continue effective evidence based Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) for some of the most challenging children and young people on the edge of care. Working with families, health, social care, education and youth justice this service will support delivery of outcomes such as families to stay together, maintain young people within their home, their involvement in education and reduce offending outcomes. The Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) service is an intensive, home and community-based therapy service for families of children aged 10-17 with severe behavioural difficulties. These difficulties are deemed to be severe if they are putting the young people at risk of an out of home placement through local authority care or custody. The MST approach views the individual as being surrounded by a network of interconnected systems that include the young people themselves, their family as well as their peer group, school and communities. Intervention may be necessary in any one or a combination of these systems. The contract is reserved for organisations who meet the requirements of Regulation 77 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (mutual organisations).
