Bude Beach Services Concession Contract

Tender description

This concession contract opportunity to manage and operate the Bude Beach Services primarily revolves around the operational management and hire of the 220 existing beach huts and some defined aspects of the management of the public open spaces that are associated in and around the vicinity of Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches. The opportunity is initially designed for run for at least three 'seasons' for a period of 36 months, starting in the first week of January 2017 and running through until to the end of the third season at the end of December 2019. Subject to the satisfactory performance of the appointed service provider, and mutual agreement between them and the Council, the Council may wish to take up its proposed option to extend the arrangement for up to a for a further 24 months, until the end of December 2021.
