Tender description

Defra is seeking to procure Contractor(s) to assist in the development; management and production of an Appraisal of Sustainability (AoS) and Habitats Regulation Assessment (HRA) for the development of a new National Policy Statement (NPS) for water resources. These are statutory requirements under the Planning Act 2008, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Directive 2001/42/EC (“SEA Directive”) and the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC (“Habitats Directive”). Defra is seeking to procure specialist technical services to deliver final drafts of these two key assessments by April 2019.
