Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to provision of specialist care and support for adolescents with medium to high support needs in a children's residential home. The service provision will specifically meet the needs of adolescents who have experienced abuse, including Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), or who are at high risk of CSE. Wandsworth Borough Council would like to engage with providers with experience of delivering these services solely as a soft market testing exercise. This PIN does not constitute any commitment by Wandsworth Borough Council to undertake any public procurement exercise in the future. This Prior information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market that Wandsworth Borough Council plans to host a market engagement event on 21.3.2017 to help develop the service provision of an in-borough Residential Children's Home. Through the market engagement event, the Council would like to engage with Residential Children's Home service providers with a proven track record in providing high quality care and support for Children Looked After. The Council would also like to share with the market its commissioning intentions and procurement timeline to gain views of the market. Interested providers that are unable to attend the market engagement event can arrange to meet or discuss their proposals with Council Commissioners on a 1 to 1 basis.
