Tender description
Warwickshire County Council and its partners would like to invite providers with experience of children's residential homes, residential schools and specialist residential provisions and social investors to meet with our children's commissioning and procurement team on 28.3.2017; 14:00 — 16:30 at Pound Lane Learning Centre, Pound Lane, Leamington Spa, CV32 7RT. The event will showcase an exciting opportunity for providers to be involved in the UK's first residential homes for children model using a Social Impact Bond. We are proposing to go out to tender for up to 20 residential placements delivered via a small homes model throughout Warwickshire with potential to include a small number of placements in Solihull and Coventry on behalf of Solihull MBC and Coventry CC. Warwickshire are keen to meet with providers who can deliver outcomes for some of the most vulnerable young children and have demonstrable track records. We will to be able to share our about to be published Warwickshire Children Looked After Placements — Commissioning and Sufficiency Strategy 2017 — 2019, enabling providers to have a clear indication of Warwickshire's intentions for over the next two years which will also include a Regional Residential Care Framework and Independent Specialist Placements. There will be a presentation on the day outlining our vision accompanied with an opportunity to ask questions to the team. Warwickshire has already started to establish relationships with a number of social investors and will be inviting these to the event to meet with potential providers. If you would like to attend or further details, then please contact either Rachaelboswell@warwickshire.gov.uk or jeanetteyoung@warwickshire.gov.uk.
