Tender description

To procure a service to develop, deliver and operate a new central equine database for the UK, which holds statutory data on all horse passports issued by UK Passport Issuing Organisations(PIOs) and horses imported to the UK. The database is a requirement of EU Commission Regulation 2015/262 on equine identification which, amongst other things, requires each Member State to operate and maintain a central equine database from July 2016.
