Project MARSHALL has a requirement for expert technical support to the Transition phase — The technical support provider must provide detailed knowledge and understanding of Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) procedures and standards to provide Infrastructure acceptance, advice, guidance and assurance. Project MARSHALL contracts for the design, procurement and installation of military air traffic management (ATM) capability and the provision of certain services in support thereof with a Prime Contractor (Aquila). The delivery of ATM services interfaces with existing site infrastructure and site services providers. The Prime Contractor will require guidance and support in the roll out of its site by site solution with respect to Infrastructure. There will be a mix of Infrastructure minor modification, installation of new equipment without infrastructure change and some installation of new towers and equipment cabins. Town Planning qualifications and experience in connection with the MOD Estate is required to provide advice and expertise to the Delivery Team and its Prime Contractor in connection with future modifications and installations. The Prime Contractor will need to interact with existing site infrastructure arrangements and providers and will be required to carry out modifications in accordance with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) associated processes and procedures, in accordance with specified Authority Regulations and Standards.
