TD1169 Expression of Interest for Derby City Parks Mobile Catering

Expressions of Interest (EoI) are sought for exciting opportunities to deliver mobile catering facilities on one or more parks across the city for Food & Beverages and/or Ice Cream. Mobile catering has historically been provided on a number of parks across the city of Derby. It will be important for the mobile catering operator to understand and work in conjunction the Council to: • deliver in the city's parks what the Council’s Parks Team and Derby LIVE are aiming to achieve; • complement existing provision on key sites where catering is already offered; • look to provide a provision that meets park users requirements; • offer added value to sites, attract new park users and increase footfall to the parks. There are a number of sites where mobile catering has traditionally been provided and are offering new licences. These are as follows: Allestree Park • Ice Cream • Food and Beverages Derby Arboretum • Ice Cream Restricted hours – 5.00pm to 8.00pm only 7 days per week Darley Playing Fields • Ice Cream • Food and Beverages King George V Playing Fields • Ice Cream Racecourse Playing Fields • Ice Cream • Food and Beverages Each of the Licences will be offered as a separate Lot and interested operators may put forward proposals for any number of lots.
