Tender description

The Council is seeking suitably qualified / accredited organisations to provide a garden waste composting / recycling service for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further year. Annually we collect approximately 9 000 tonnes of garden waste that is composted at several locations around the district. Due to the nature of garden waste the tonnages collected vary from season to season. Set out below are the monthly tonnages for the last twelve months from March 2015 to April 2016 to give a general indication. Month/Tonnage March — 482 April — 1 016 May — 1 053 June — 1 233 July — 1 097 August — 938 September — 1 061 October — 847 November — 617 December — 151 January — 253 February — 272 Total — 9 025t.
