Tender description

To secure the introduction of an Independent Assessment: Notified Body, Designated Body & CSM-RA Assessment Body to support the Contracting Authority and the wider high speed rail project in order to fulfil its legal obligations, under the Railway Interoperability Regulations (2011) (as amended) and the Common Safety Method on Risk Assessment and Evaluation (CSM-RA). To identify and select a single, qualified tenderer utilising a single contract agreement for the contract term. The scope covers Phases 1, 2a) and, potentially, Operations. To implement the approach to Railway System Safety and Interoperability defined in the HS2 Strategies: Railway System Safety Strategy (HS2-HS2-EN-STR-000-000001) and HS2 Interoperability Strategy (HS2-HS2-EN-STR-000-000005), copies of which will be issued as part of the tender documentation. We are seeking a qualified and experienced partner who can provide assessment and compliance of applicable European and UK Railway standards and who can undertake to certify the relevant technical functions of the high-speed railway.
