Tender description

Please note that this notification is for Transparency purposes only. The Army part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) needed to procure a NATO SECRET (NS) storage and connectivity hardware. The requirement was primarily needed to improve the resilience of the storage environment within the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) permanent headquarters (PHQ) datacentre. The Army's current storage arrays, EMC CX4-120 became end of life in December 2016. The Authority requested Potential Providers to provide the following products: Dell EqualLogic PS6210XS x 2; Broadcom 57810 10Gb SFP + Network Cards x 10 and; 10Gb SFP Modules x 10. No support and maintenance was required from the Successful Supplier. Installation, configuration and commissioning and testing is to be carried out by the 252 Signal Squadron.
