Creative Fuse North East will unlock the true potential of the creative, digital and tech sectors to drive innovation & growth of the region’s economy. Creative Fuse North East will run until October 2018, and we anticipate this activity will run throughout the duration of delivery. CFNE seeks to commission a partner organisation to deliver the project evaluation. The evaluation will adopt a formative and summative approach with reports produced at the mid and end points of the project. The evaluation will: • report on the project’s performance and impacts (i.e. jobs created, SMEs assisted with innovation interventions, and business improvement in SMEs); • assess the progress made towards achieving the overall goal of the project and the level of success achieved in relation to the project’s primary objectives; in particular this will focus upon stimulating and meeting the demand for innovation-based activities and outcomes; securing private sector engagement and ‘buy-in’ to innovation practices; the design and delivery of the selected innovation activities; and achieving overall Strategic Added Value; • investigate the level of efficiency in the project management and approach and consideration of the consortia’s project delivery, engagement with industry and learning realised through the project; • assess and consider areas of good practice, and evidence of regional and national partnership working; and, • examine participation of equality groups.
