Tender description

The Authority intends to set up a framework agreement with a number of providers for the provision of up to 10 pharmacy technician student placements per year. These placements shall last for a two year period and shall lead to the award of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) recognised qualification of Level 3 Diploma (National Vocational Qualification) in Pharmacy Services Skills (Competence). This shall result in the student's registration with the GPhC. This training shall incorporate a GPhC recognised course of underpinning knowledge such as the BTEC National Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) or Level 3 Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) and shall be undertaken through day or block release at college. No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting framework agreement or contract indeed there is no guarantee that any framework agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc. will be paid if a tender or resulting framework agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Bidders should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
