Tender description

The University of Warwick has a requirement for equipment relating to the Automation Systems Demonstrator project to perform automatic assembly operations on battery packs with reconfigurable capability for other applications in the future. The initial requirement includes a need for proprietary electrical linear slides / cylinders, design and build of a mechanical fixture, and supply and commissioning of control systems software. This contract shall operate as a framework agreement with a duration of 2 years with optional extensions. The framework is split into lots as detailed in the ITT. This will enable the University to call of a series of requirements over a period of time for different related projects (subject to funding). The framework is split into lots for supply only, design and build, and commissioning and control systems. Suppliers may tender for one or more lots. The University reserves the right to appoint more than one supplier across all lots. Lot 1 is for Supply only of equipment / hardware.
