Electronic Patient Record (‘EPR’) Development. The Trust has successfully built its own EPR/portal solution over the last few years to supplement its best of breed IT strategy. PPM+ is a web-based product that binds the clinical data into a single portal. It also has significant ‘Point of Care’ added functionality. PPM+ is also the core architecture and instance that delivers the Leeds Care Record which has recently received a Health Service Journal Award providing virtual wards to 108 GP Surgeries alongside other primary and social care functionality. It also delivers the Regional Cancer System. The Trust believes this product has significant commercial value and could be successfully used in other organisations. The Trust is therefore seeking options and innovative commercial delivery models for a partner to take on the accelerated development and deployment of this product. The Trust is not seeking to procure software as an alternative. The Trust is seeking a commercial partner to contract with in order to develop and commercialise PPM+. The partner will be expected to develop the existing PPM+ product and work through the Trust's existing development backlog. During this period, and after completion of the backlog, the partner will support the Trust's continued use of the PPM+ system. The partner will also be expected to work with the Trust to commercialise PPM+ with a view to making this available as an EPR offering to other providers of healthcare.
