Tender description
CIT has many critical IT systems all of which require understanding the user’s identity. At present, the Institute has two primary sources of Identity, Banner for student Identity and CoreHR for staff Identity. However, there are several other IT systems where this Identity is stored and is used to authenticate users from these databases, so for example, the Institute has two student active directories, one staff active directory, a smart Card System providing Identity information to third party systems like Access Control, PoS, e-purse, etc. This Request for Tender (RFT) invites suitably experienced organisations to provide design and potentially implementation services to CIT to aid the Institute to develop an Identity architecture suitable for its needs.
