A new contracting framework to enable early contractor appointment to support site preparation and enabling works, site infrastructure and highways, civil engineering, lead development and construction works for a programme of Council promoted growth projects with flexible financing options to suit Typical projects (both publicly and privately funded) to be undertaken through the framework include:- Construction Schemes Undertaking building capital schemes for the Council. Highway & Civil Enginnering Schemes The Framework will be used to support the delivery of highway schemes delivered under the LEP Growth Deal funding together with s278 works to support the existing Council in-house delivery team. Enabling Site Infrastructure Undertaking advanced site infrastructure on Council land in the form of new site entrance and access works, service diversions, new utilities, drainage, ground stabilisation, demolition, earthworks, clearance and decontamination. Commercial Schemes Opportunities for Framework partners to bring forward commercial developments with either pre-let or speculative schemes on Council land in addition to Council promoted schemes with end users. Housing Schemes In conjunction with Registered Providers deliver specialist and affordable housing schemes on Council land. Keywords: Development
