Extra Care Provision - update

Thank you to all suppliers who have expressed an interest in our Extra Care opportunity. The council is experiencing some technical difficulties with the electronic bidding system that manages the council’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). We’re having to build some new components into the system, which will take a further two weeks to compete. Our IT suppliers have advised that the new components will be completed by the 5th June. Therefore, we are planning to publish the extra care opportunity, via the DPS, in the week commencing the 5th June and DPS enrolled suppliers will be able to submit bids as soon as the opportunity is published. DPS enrolled suppliers will have 21 days from publication date in which to submit their bids and responses to the extra care opportunity. Only fully enrolled suppliers on the council’s Home Support Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will be allowed to view the opportunity and submit bids. Hope this clarifies the latest position.
