Endowment Fund Investment Manager

Tender description

Following a review of the University's Endowment Investment Policy, the University of Bristol has decided to seek tenders from specialist managers for the management of its endowment portfolio which has a value of approximately £60M. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to invest in line with best practice in terms of corporate governance and the University's Endowment Investment Policy. The University places a premium on the service it receives from its suppliers and the managers of the portfolio would be expected to provide a high quality of service and develop a close working relationship with the University. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to have experience of managing funds from charities. The initial contract period is 5 years plus up to another 5 years if the options to extend are exercised. The "Lowest/Actual Value" referred to in the Summary Information is estimated on the basis of the minimum contract period of 5 years.
