Tender description

Fife Council wishes to acquire the services of a Multidisciplinary Specialist Design Team Consultancy Services. Tenders are invited from experienced providers of Multi-disciplinary Specialist Design Team Consultancy Services that can provide high quality professional services and advice using a customer focused approach in the public sector. The Lead Consultant will be the Conservation Architect. The Services required are to be split into 2 phases. Tenders are invited from experienced providers of Multi-disciplinary Specialist Design Team Consultancy Services that can provide high quality professional services and advice using a customer focused approach in the public sector. The Lead Consultant will be the Conservation Architect. The Services required are to be split into 2 phases. Phase 1 (Work Package 1) Deliverables. It is envisaged that the commission will result in the development of the following documents: a) Silverburn Park Designed Landscape Survey; b) Flax Mill Historic Building Survey & Conservation Statement; c) Flax Mill designs and outline costs up to and including RIBA Stage 2; d) Corriemar Historic Building Survey / Options Appraisal; e) Silverburn House Historic Building Survey / options review. And Phase 2 Deliverables. Subject to funding, the appointed Lead Consultant will be invited (by the Employer's Agent) to quote for Work Package(s) to continue working on Silverburn Flax Mill; with detailed design, negotiation of necessary consents, and obtaining contractor's quotations for construction. This will be Phase 2 and in this second phase the Multidisciplinary Specialist design team will be required to develop a fully detailed and costed scheme which can be implemented through traditional forms of construction procurement up to completion of the project.
