Tender description

Place Partnership Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from consultant practices with proven experience in Estate Management Consultancy relating to Rating Valuation. The practice will be engaged to provide a comprehensive review of Place Partnership's entire managed estate on behalf of its partnering organisations and where there is evidence of over assessment to challenge the figures proposed by the Valuation Office Agency on the 2017 rating list (national non-domestic and domestic where appropriate) through the appeals process to ensure the Partner organisations rates liability is as low as possible. The practice will need to (1) Provide a comprehensive review of the entire estate managed on behalf of the Partnering organisations and where there is evidence of over assessment to challenge the figures proposed by the Valuation Office Agency on the 2017 rating list (national non-domestic and domestic where appropriate) through the appeals process to ensure the Partner organisations rates liability is as low as possible (2)Rates management service, if required, to ensure that the Partner organisations have met their rates liabilities (3) To provide an Audit review service, if required, to identify further rates savings (to include retrospective savings identified) (4) Completion and return of the Valuation Office Agency of rates returns forms. The valuation services covered by this contract comprises the full range of services under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Valuation faculty. The types of valuations covered include: ű (a) Market value, fair value, worth (investment value); (b) Valuation for public sector asset financial reporting; (c) Ratings including appeals.
