Tender description

Highway related civil engineering consultancy services at various locations within the Borough of St Helens with an option for other Merseyside Authorities to access the contract. Lot 1 — Highway, footway, lighting improvements, — Highway bridges, — Traffic modeling, scheme appraisals, — Site investigations. Lot 2 Drainage and flood management improvements. Lot 3 Environment and landscape. Lot 1 for multi-disciplinary organisations: — Highway, footway and lighting improvements, — Highway structures and bridges, — Traffic modelling and scheme appraisals, — Site investigations, — Desk top and design/management of on-site investigations. Lot 1 is typically for commissions (Task Order) requiring more than 1 discipline. Bidders must provide all the disciplines in the Lot. There is no maximum for the value of each Task Order placed (commission) or the number of Task Orders placed during the framework period. The Council does reserve the right to order or market test high value commissions through existing national frameworks for professional services. Lot 2: — Drainage and flood risk management. Lot 2 is a single discipline Lot. It is expected that individual commissions (Task Order) would be under 10 000 GBP with no limit to the number of commissions placed during the framework period. Lot 3: — Environment, public realm and landscape studies. Lot 3 is a single discipline Lot. It is expected that individual commissions (Task Order) would be under 10 000 GBP with no limit to the number of commissions placed during the framework period.
