Sexual Abuse Counselling and Support Service

Tender description

The service will be a provision for a countywide sexual abuse counselling and support service across Warwickshire. The service will provide support, information and advice through; • A library of books and information • A website • Newsletter/e-newsletter • Individual Counselling • Support Groups • Ongoing training and volunteering and opportunities for individuals Signposting to other support services available if appropriate The service will be available to both males and females who need help to recover from the effects of rape or sexual abuse. Individuals can self-refer or can be referred by primary, secondary mental health services, voluntary organisations, family, friends etc Contract value is £25,000 per annum and this contributes to the core costs of service delivery - please note this is not the full service cost. The successful provider would be expected to source other funding streams to fund the remaining service cost.
