Tender description

HSE on behalf of The Office for Nuclear Regulation is inviting tenders from individuals or organisations to provide GIS mapping services. These aim to provide further improvements for public protection, in the unlikely event of a radiation emergency, through examination of local strategic and practical issues as well as the rigorous technical assessment of radiological hazards on a site. In order to determine the off-site emergency planning area, a number of maps of varying detail and associated data tables relating to populations are to be produced for areas around each GB nuclear site.
