Summary of the work You will play an integral role building and maintaining a variety of highly engaged stakeholder base. Focused on ensuring a consistent and coherent engagement strategy, you will develop and own a series of engagement approaches and channels giving stakeholders a clear voice in the delivery of the programme vision. Latest start date 30/11/2016 subject to clearance Maximum Day Rate £750 Who Speclialist Work With National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) Leadership Team National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) Compliance Manager / Lead Key National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) data owners What Specialists Work On Work collaboratively across National Law Enforcement Data Programme (NLEDP) to deliver the programme vision, developing and maintaining a stakeholder engagement strategy and plan to ensure consistent and coherent engagement across NPDP’s diverse stakeholder landscape. Putting in place feedback actions monitoring the effectiveness of engagement activity, reviewing and developing existing engagement channels and emerging engagement needs. Working with the NLEDP leadership team and business change manager/lead to identify/address engagement needs within the NPDP stakeholder base, mapping key stakeholders for NLEDP; and developing integrated engagement plans. Supporting NLEDP colleagues delivering change across law enforcement by developing change communications and engagement activities. Skills & Experience •  Proven experience of facilitating meetings and workshops with people from all levels of seniority •  Good experience of cultural, strategic and tactical business issues, and aligning digital and technology strategies with business goals when engaging with staff, stakeholders and customers •  Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people •  Experience of developing and delivering staff engagement plans in a technology environment • Experience of managing a variety of stakeholder engagement tools, including the use of online channels Nice to Haves •  An understanding of the government's digital and technology transformation agenda, and why the government is changing the way it does digital and technology projects • An understanding of the law enforcement landscape. Work Location Home Office sites within M25. Initially based in 2 Marsham Street and relocating to Croydon at some point. Travel may be required to other sites, with travel expenses claimable, subject to Home Office T&S policy, for travel outside M25. Working Arrangments Full time Onsite at least 3 days a week for face to face meeting.
