Tender description

The Great Hall is the University's large scale venue which seats up to 1 400 delegates, holding a variety of events from conferences; touring bands; graduation ceremonies; exams; dining functions and exhibitions. The criteria is to consider the Great Hall as a multi-functional venue, as a result the University require the installation,commissioning and operation of rigging in order to facilitate event delivery. It is anticipated that the project will be divided into 4 distinct areas of work: 1) Installation of temporary rental equipment for routine event operation; 2) Installation of temporary rental equipment for specialised event operation; 3) Ongoing hire and maintenance of temporary rental technical equipment; 4) Management of the supply of technical services and crew. The contractor will take full responsibility for the equipment from erection of rigging equipment to maintenance and replacement lamps as required.
