Tender description

The University of Sheffield has awarded a tender on behalf of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering for an Automated Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) Cluster Tool. We required an Automated Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) Cluster Tool for the creation of high quality ordered nanostructures based on III-V Quantum Dots (QDs). Our requirement is split into 3 Lots: Lot 1 — MBE system; Lot 2 — Surface analysis equipment - Nil award; Lot 3 — In-situ monitoring equipment - Nil award.
