14 121 Provision of Cleaning and Catering Disposables

Tender description

Cheshire East Council are looking to procure a contract with a supplier who can provide the following; To provide specialist cleaning products suitable for the catering industry, to include but not limited to, cleaning and disinfectant products, Hygiene paper, Soaps and dispensers, Gloves protective cleaning, Brooms and brushes, Cleaning textiles and Floor pads. To provide a range of catering disposables to include but not limited to, hot and cold cups and lids, plates and cutlery, film and foil, takeaway boxes and packaging, napkins and table covers, in a range of designs and sizes that are stylish and practical and offering products that are cost effective, fully functional, and are genuinely sustainable where specified. Where possible the supplier should support sustainability, recycling and composting initiatives and offer products that are eco-friendly, biodegradable, recyclable and compostable to assist waste management initiatives. PLEASE NOTE RESPONSES MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED VIA THE CHEST BY 12 NOON ON THE 25TH JANUARY 2017. Please ensure you leave sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the closing date/time. The council cannot be held responsible for technical/ICT issues in leaving the uploading of your submission too late. No submission received after this closing date and time will be considered other than where there are exceptional circumstances which may be considered by the Director of Legal Services in his sole discretion. Please note that submissions which are partly through being uploaded at the closing time will be considered to have not been received. PERIOD: 1st March 2017 - 30th September 2017 with the Option to extend for 2 x 6 months
