The Council are looking for an experienced caterer with a track record of providing the following services in the 'Tea Room' at the William Morris Gallery: - A fresh, seasonal and consistently high quality offer - A creative, passionate and entrepreneurial approach that develops the reputation of the Tea Room as a draw in its own right - Exceptional customer service with a warm and friendly approach - A commitment to working with us to ensure the safety and security of the collections at all times - Willingness to use locally-sourced produce where possible - A pricing structure that represents value for money and includes a range of price points - An exciting and reasonably priced children’s menu that appeals to our diverse local families - A commitment to engaging local residents, e.g. through loyalty schemes and special offers - Strong environmental policy and commitment to reducing waste - A willingness to work with our team to develop the business further, maximising the potential of the site and client base, increasing income and developing our reputation for excellence We are inviting interested parties to tender for this exciting opportunity. The intention is to let a contract for 3 years with an option to extend by a further 2 years, and to have the new contractor in place by the beginning of June 2016. The Council is procuring an operator for this facility through the London Tenders Portal.
