Tender description

Devon County Council wish to engage with a single supplier for the purchase of 3 to 6 pre owned salt spreaders during the 2016 financial year. The outline specification of the 6 vehicles will be; 18 tonne 4 x 4 chassis compliant with BS 1622 1989 Class A1 and draft Euro Standard prEN 15597-2, particularly in terms of spread capability. 6cuM low throw pre-wet body with control box capability to spread de-icing salt at 1 gm increments RS232 control box interface to European Standard EN15430-1:2007, to link with salt spreader tracking system Fitted with snow plough DIN plates The complete vehicles offered (chassis and spreader body) will have been used for 2 or 3 winter seasons The vehicles are to be fully refurbished and offered with a 6 month (one winter season) warranty If this business opportunity is of interest, please respond with your expression of interest confirming the number of vehicles you are able to supply that can comply with the above outline specification.
