Provision of Employee Drugs and Alcohol Testing

Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH) LMH was established following the stock transfer from Liverpool City Council on 1st April 2008, becoming the newest housing association in Liverpool, managing over 15,000 homes in the city. From day one of transfer LMH started work on investing over £1.5million a week to improve homes and services. Nearly £400 million has been spent on improving homes and services and over the next 30 years, almost £900 million will be spent to continue to maintain our properties to the highest standards. Investing in Communities LMH is involved in a wide range of commercial and social activities and sees itself as a ‘social entrepreneur’ - creating ‘social dividend’ which is used to support initiatives that address deprivation, promote inclusion and support communities. Building Homes LMH has an ambitious development programme and is part of the Liverpool Housing Development Partnership, an agreement with Liverpool City Council, Redrow Homes and Wilmott Dixon to drive up the range and quality of properties in the city. Through the partnership LMH and Redrow Homes will jointly build 1,500 new homes and LMH aims to bring up to 1,000 back into use as part of a £205 million investment over five years. Award The award of this Contract will be on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender taking into consideration the following award criteria: Price – 80% (based on total price of testing 40 employees) Quality - 20% (based on supplier response to this requirements document) Note: this tender exercise is a Value for Money exercise.
