Payroll Services Approved List

Tender description

To provide payroll support to employers managing a cash budget (Direct Payment) from Rochdale Borough Council (RBC) on behalf of themselves or another service user. RBC is sourcing payroll providers to go on the Approved list to provide payroll support to individuals in receipt of Cash Budgets, to support employers of Personal Assistants in all aspects of payroll in order to be HM Revenues & Customs (HMRC) and Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) compliant. The council cannot promise any volumes of work as the numbers of employers using this service will increase/decrease and will vary from each payroll period as employers leave/join the service and exercise their choice over whether to use this service. The Council shall not be entering into contracts as a result of this advert, this advert is for the creation of an approved list to which successful parties (following an application evaluation) will be placed. This list will be shared with employers who require assistance from the Council, the decision on whether to contract, and who to contract with is outside of the Council's control and is the individual employers decision at their sole discretion. The purpose of this approved list, is to ensure that those employers who require Council assistance are provided with a list of competent, capable, and good value companies from which to make their choice.
