NHS Nottingham City CCG Evaluation for GP Local Enhanced Services for Care Homes

NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group is looking for a supplier to carry out an evaluation of the GP Local Enhanced Service (LES) for Care Homes, which will inform the expansion and refinement of the GP LES through the Care Homes Vanguard Project. The evaluation has 4 aims: • To evaluate the effectiveness of current GP LES coverage and provision • To define and determine the benefits of the current provision to the care homes resident population • To undertake an options appraisal to develop an optimal model for future provision, and cost the model • To scope capacity in city GP practices for delivery of an optimal model across all city care homes. The objectives of the evaluation are to: • Determine the effectiveness and benefits of current provision under the GP LES. • Recommend a feasible, costed optimal model for Nottingham City Care Homes. • Review capacity within the current structure to deliver 100% coverage of Nottingham City Care Homes against an optimal model. The value of the contract is £19k including VAT.
