Tender description

The Council is seeking to contract with a provider(s), for the provision of an Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS), Locally branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) to support people from all client groups who wish to make a complaint about health service(s) and also Healthwatch Wolverhampton (HWW) to operate as an independent consumer champion, to gather and represent the views of the public in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local care service. These 2 service elements will be advertised as separate lots — Lot 1 — Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS), Locally Branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) Lot 2 — HealthWatch Wolverhampton (HWW) The service shall commence for a period of 3 years from 1.4.2016 with an option to extend by up to a further 24 months thereafter. Timescales For Project Milestones are as follows: Advertise Tender — 5.11.2015 Tender Closing Date — 7.12.2015 Quality Scoring — 8th December 2015 Moderation/Interviews — 11.12.2015 Standstill Period — 23.12.2015 TUPE mobilisation upto — 31.3.2016 Contract Signing completed by — 31.3.2016 Contract Start — 1.4.2016 (for 3 years with 2 further 12 month extensions available subject to both parties approval in writing).
