Tender description

CCS wishes to establish a Panel of full service commercial law firms to provide services to ‘Permitted Users’ (in section VI.3) to support a range of significant projects, disputes and initiatives, potentially within specialist sectors (eg energy). Bidders must be able to demonstrate expertise and capacity to provide as a minimum Mandatory Specialisms: Public Law Competition/EU Contracts Construction Corporate Data protection/FOIA Dispute resolution Employment Environment Franchising H&S IT Insurance IP Litigation Outsourcing Partnership Pensions Planning Projects / PFI/PPP Public Procurement Real Estate/Estate Finance Restructuring/Insolvency Tax Mandatory Services: Provision of end to end advice/support on public procurement matters inc. process structure, doc. drafting, criteria and negotiation. Drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts. Support relationships between Permitted Users and 3rd parties — advice on rights, obligations, breaches, changes. This procurement relates to legal services within the meaning of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015). Given that this procurement process relates to ‘social and other specific services’ only, it is subject to limited regulation and accordingly will be conducted in accordance with regulations 74 to 76 of the PCR 2015. Any references to fully regulated processes or requirements are for ease of reference only and should not be taken as recognition nor acceptance that the same apply in this instance. The anticipated start date of the Panel is 30.11.2016. The anticipated maximum number of providers to be appointed to the Panel is approximately eighteen (18).
