IoACC invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for a ‘Solution’ to upgrade the current mixed cans and mixed plastic bottle sorting system following the introduction of a new collection system which will include mixed plastics. IoACC invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for a ‘Solution’ to upgrade the current mixed cans and mixed plastic bottle sorting system following the introduction of a new collection system which will include mixed plastics. The enclosed document sets out the current working arrangements, it shall be each tenderer's responsibility to develop a ‘Solution’ that continue to allow steel and aluminium cans and mixed plastic to be processed from the point of deposit within the storage drop-off point to the final end point to produce separate baled of Mixed plastic, Aluminium cans and Steel cans. Please see additional documents for more information. Tenders should be submitted via the sell2wales postbox facility no later than noon on the 4.4.2016. Questions and requests for clarification should be made via the sell2wales Q and A function no later than 28.3.2016, noon.
