Tender description

Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking to re-commission a contract for the Marginalised and Vulnerable Adults Service (MVA); the redesigned service is due to start in February 2017. The MVA Service currently provides specialist health advice and support to a range of groups including homeless, refugees, migrant workers, ex-prisoners, Gypsies and Travellers, and Roma Communities providing a key link with Primary Care practices within the CCG areas (excluding Waveney). In addition, the Service works with a range of statutory and third sector organisations to address health inequalities faced by marginalised and vulnerable population groups, some with significant health needs; this includes local authorities, acute hospitals, mental health, third Sector, community organisations and other local health and social care providers.
