Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) for NHS North Derbyshire CCG acting on behalf of NHS England (North Midlands) in accordance with their Delegation Agreement (referred to as the Commissioners) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Alternative Provider of Medical Services GP Services at Grange Family Health Centre, Rectory Road Medical Centre and Inkersall Family Health Centre (Chesterfield, Inkersall and Staveley). The Commissioners are looking for a provider to deliver high quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner and through a learning environment which includes the training of doctors and other healthcare professionals. A Part B procurement process will be undertaken with a view to awarding the contract July 2016 with services commencing from 1st October 2016 for a period of 15 years with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years . The estimated GMS Contract Value (per annum) as defined by the current list size, based on a price per weighted registered patient has a total value of approximately £1.9 million per annum dependent on provider achievements and patient registration levels. The services to which this procurement relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (“the Regulations”).
