Tender description
The Council is inviting quotations for the provision of WiFi access points. A new installation of wireless access points is required to provide wireless coverage in selected council offices. Initially, wireless access will only be provided for council employees to access the corporate network, however, the architecture must be designed to support guest Internet access from the same access points with complete segregation from the council’s network. There is no intention to allow BYOD access to the corporate network. The contract start date is 1st May 2016 for a three year period.
