Objective The duration of the programme will last three years from March 2016 to March 2019 .The programme will strengthen the influence of coalitions within and beyond South Africa working to bring about better pro-poor policymaking through institutions of global economic governance. In doing so, it will create a stronger platform for partnership between the UK and South African institutions on these issues. In line with DFID’s Economic Development Strategy, we expect the impact of the programme to be “an international system of global economic governance which works better for the poor in Africa”.
