Tender description

Highways England is seeking to procure a weather forecasting service that will provide a tailored weather forecast for Highways England's Strategic Road Network. The initial core service required will be for the National Forecasting Service and the provision of Area 7 Operational Forecasting. Operational Forecasting for Areas 1, 2, 13 and 14 will also be included. Optional elements (at Highways England's discretion) which may be included during the course of the contract will be Operational Forecasting for the other 8 Highways England Areas, the 10 Highways England Design, Build, Finance & Operate (DBFO) routes, and the development and incorporation of innovative weather forecasting products or services.
